The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston is one of twelve district Reserve Banks in the Federal Reserve System. Our responsibility is to serve the First Federal Reserve District, which includes the six New England states- Connecticut (excluding Fairfield County), Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. In addition to our central office in Boston's financial district, a Regional Check Processing Center is located in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
