The Financial Institution Relations & Outreach (FIRO) program is an extension of the Boston Reserve Bank's commitment to maintaining strong, interactive communications with New England bankers and facilitate mutually beneficial exchanges.

FIRO was launched in January 2009 to maintain close contact with First District financial institutions through a variety of communication avenues. FIRO’s mission is to provide New England financial institutions and banking organizations direct access to the nation’s central bank.

FIRO also maintains relationships with all First District depository institutions, state banking associations, and industry groups.

Your input about the communications and services of the FIRO group is important to us. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the Boston Reserve Bank’s FIRO staff at (877) 973-6535 or email FedBoston.News.
