The New England Public Policy Center (NEPPC) is dedicated to enhancing access to high-quality analysis on economic and public policy issues that affect the region.

NEPPC was established by the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston in January 2005. The Boston Fed has provided support to the public policy community of New England for many years; NEPPC institutionalizes and expands on this tradition.

What We Do

The Center accomplishes its mission by:

  • Conducting objective research on regional public policy issues.

  • Supporting regional research projects and responding to requests for assistance.

  • Providing data on the region.

  • Hosting public events and forums.

  • Building a network of public policy analysts.

Coming Soon...

The Center will soon be publishing research on the following topics:

  • Voting with their feet? Local economic conditions and migration patterns in New England
